TASHKENT (UzReport) — Uzbekistan plans to hold The Integrated Nuclear Infrastructure Review Mission in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). More than 20 international experts are planned to be involved in the program.

The decision was reached after several meetings with IAEA delegation headed by Deputy Director General Massimo Aparo.

The agency expressed its readiness to provide full assistance at all stages of the creation of the nuclear industry of Uzbekistan. The mission has set a plan to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the nuclear infrastructure of Uzbekistan in April 2021.
