TASHKENT (Satrapia) — Fiscal Institute under the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan begins accepting application. The new institute was established last November.

The undergraduate courses will start from the academic year 2021-2022. The admission criteria for the institute will be determined by the State Tax Committee itself. Students from Uzbekistan will be admitted on the basis of competitive selection, while foreign nationals will be admitted on the basis of the results of interview.

From the academic year 2021/2022, the Fiscal Institute will accept students in the areas of bachelor’s degree:

• Taxes and taxation;
• accounting and audit;
• digital economics.

There is also provision for a joint program at the Financial University attached to the Government of Russia, which is internationally rated (dual degree program): a 4-year bachelor’s degree program and a 2-year master program.

Education at the university is conducted in full-time and part-time modes on the basis of the credit-module system and on a fee-contract basis. The duration of studyis 4 years for full-time and 5 years for correspondence studies.

Entrance exams consist of a set of test subjects similar to the ones for economics courses.

Within the framework of the agreement with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, students studying on joint programs take 3-4 year courses in Moscow and receive in addition a diploma from a Russian university.

Leading experts from ministries and agencies will be involved in the training sessions, the final course will be organised in the administrative buildings of the tax authorities, the training process will take place at the modern campuses of the Fiscal Institute.
