Details of the project were on the agenda of negotiations between Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Sardor Umurzakov and the French SUEZ delegation headed by Executive Vice President Eric Ghebali. On February 20, the parties also agreed to launch similar projects in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions.

All projects are to be implemented at the expense of grant funds of the French company.
