TASHKENT (UzReport) — Air Astana launches a direct scheduled flight from the capital of Kazakhstan to Samarkand. The flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays starting from June 9.

It is noted that Samarkand will be the second city in Uzbekistan, where Air Astana will perform regular flights. At that, the flights will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

Departure and arrival time is Tashkent time:

• Wednesday
  • Departure from Almaty 14:40, arrival in Samarkand 15:15;
  • Departure from Samarkand 16:45, arrival in Almaty – 19:20
• Sunday
  • Departure from Almaty 10:20, arrival in Samarkand 10:55;
  • Return flight 12:25, arrival 15:00.

Economy class tickets start at $162 and Business class at $516.
