TASHKENT (UzA) — The opening ceremony of a high-tech metal processing plant LLC Metal Processing will be held in Tashkent tomorrow. This is a major step in localization of Rieter machines in the country.

Swiss delegation led by Federal Councillor Johann N. Schneider-Ammann, head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research will take part at the opening ceremony of the sheet metal production plant, which specializes in production of precision metal parts using the latest European equipment.

The new plant on sheet metal production, created in cooperation with the local Metal Processing company, is designed to meet a wide range of customer requests from complex machine parts to small individual solutions. Investments in the latest equipment and sheet metal processing technologies will be beneficial to all consumers thanks to Swiss quality, competitive prices and timely delivery.

The project is implemented with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other agencies.
