TASHKENT (Kun.uz) — As of December 1, doctors’ salaries in Uzbekistan will increase by 20%. In 5 months, these same salaries will increase by 35%, said Deputy Finance Minister Dilshod Sultanov.

Another 20% salary increase for doctors is planned for December 1, noted D. Sultanov. In April 2019, it will be increased by an additional 15%.

In turn, the salaries of teachers in the highest secondary category will increase by 25% as of January 1, 2019, the others by 10%.

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyev had signed a decree increasing the salaries of civil servants as of 1 November, as well as pensions, scholarships and benefits by an average of 10%.
