NEW-DELHI (XASANBEK TV) — Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, accompanied by a high level delegation, paid a State Visit to India from September 30-October 1, 2018.

This was be the first visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India. President Mirziyoyev, accompanied by his spouse paid a visit to Agra on 30^th September. On 1^st October, Mirziyoyev was paid a Guard of Honour at the Rashtrapati Bhawan after which he visited Raj Ghat to pay homage to the Father of the Indian Nation.

Mirziyoyev met Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and had restricted and delegation level talks at the Hyderabad House. He also met the President of India and attend the Presidential Banquet.
