TASHKENT (AKIPress) — The minimum salary for workers of publicly financed organizations, pensions, benefits, student’s allowances will be increased by 7% in average from July 15^th.

The following minimum payments were approved by the Uzbek presidential decree:

• Salary: 184,300 soums ($23) / month;
• Pensions and disability allowance:– 360,460 soums ($45);
• Benefits for elderly and disabled citizens not required to work: 221,190 soums ($28) / month.

The previous pay raise in Uzbekistan was made in December 2017, increasing salaries by 15%.
