TASHKENT (Satrapia) — The government of Uzbekistan has established an International University in Tashkent.

The University is authorized to select its foreign partners among the higher education institutions listed in the top 1000 of The Times Higher Education in order to open branches in Uzbekistan.

The University will be fee-based. Training will be provided in Uzbek, English or other languages as full-time, correspondence, evening, special correspondence or distance learning courses.

Students will receive a diploma of international level or in accordance with a standard established by foreign partner universities, and will be recognized as in Uzbekistan.

Graduates of this University will be included in the pool of senior staff of the Ministry of Public Education and the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers.

In addition, on an exceptional basis, the Ministry of Education will have the right to choose a potential investor offering the best conditions for conducting the University’s activities, as well as for determining the investment conditions and social obligations.
