JALALABAD (Pajhwok Afghan News) — Daesh shadow governor for eastern Nangarhar province, suicide jackets and mine maker has been killed, an official said on Friday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor spokesperson, told Pajhwok Afghan News security forces have killed Daesh shadow governor and mine maker Hidayatullah during operation in Chaparhar district.

One pistol and four mines recovered during the operation that took place on Thursday night.

Separately, security forces have conducted a raid in Jalalabad City on Thursday night and arrested senior Daesh leader Qari Abdul Rahman also known as Qari Tamim.
