Air Strikes Killed 20 Taliban Insurgents in Laghman

MEHTARLAM (BNA) — Twenty Taliban insurgents have been killed in the latest air strikes in Laghman. The Taliban were targeted in Raheen and Gamba villages of Alishang district last night and this morning.
Selab Army Corps in east of the country said in a news release that 20 insurgents, including four commanders of this group, were killed in the air strikes.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
According to another report, the security forces prevented a series of explosions in Laghman by detecting and neutralizing 30 mines.
No one has been arrested in connection with the bombings.
