WASHINGTON (Pajhwok Afghan News) — Pakistan has not been helpful to the United States on Afghanistan, US President Donald Trump said Monday, a day after he told a news channel in an interview that Osama bin Laden should have been captured a long time back.

“We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars and they never told us he was living there. Fools!” Trump said in a tweet.

“We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another”, said the US President.

“They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!” Trump said.

Trump has stopped giving military and security assistance arguing that it has misused the US money. In his tweets, Trump reiterated that Bin Laden should have been captured a long time back before he was killed in a daring raid in Abbottabad.

“Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot”, Trump said.
