KABUL (DW News) — A suicide bomber has attacked a wedding party in Kabul, killing more than 60 people and wounding nearly 200 others. No group has yet claimed responsibility, though the Islamic State (ex ISIS, داعش) is known to have perpetrated similar attacks.

The attack comes as the Taliban and the US say they’re close to a deal aimed at getting US troops to withdraw and ending the 18-year conflict.
