KABUL (Ruptly) — At least 95 people were injured after a car bomb detonated in front of a police station in Kabul on Wednesday.
The explosion took place around 9AM local time (04:30 GMT) in western Kabul with the intention of targeting a security forces recruitment centre, according to the Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid. The group also claimed responsibly for the blast.
The car bombing came a day after the Taliban called for the September presidential election boycott and threatened to attack election rallies.
