ASHGABAT (Orient) — The governments of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the joint development of the Dostlug (“Friendship”) hydrocarbon field in the Caspian Sea.

The memorandum was signed by the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries — Rashid Meredov and Jeyhun Bayramov, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of the Azerbaijani delegation especially for this mission.
