ANKARA (Ruptly) — Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with his Azerbaijani and Turkmen counterparts in a trilateral meeting in Ankara on Tuesday.
Financial operations and an upcoming trilateral summit, which will be held in Turkmenistan, and agreements in the energy industry, were all topics of conversation at the meeting, which they concluded by signing a joint declaration on future cooperation.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the trilateral summit to be hosted in Turkmenistan later in the year.
’’There are agreements that we are going to sign at the upcoming summit this year. We want to complete them by speeding up the negotiation process. We desire to have a successful meeting with solid gains and results”,’ said Cavusoglu.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov explained that the trio had “discussed opening all borders in the region gradually and, accordingly, opening new transport routes and fixing existing roads.”
