ASHGABAT (Turkmenistan.ru) – Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan were opened in Ashgabat. The Tajik delegation, which arrived in Turkmenistan for the Days of Culture, includes poets and writers, directors, artists, singers, musicians, representatives of opera, theatre and choreographic art, journalists, heads of creative educational institutions.

The official delegation of Tajikistan was admitted to the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, where the issues of interaction between the two countries in the sphere of cultural development were discussed.

The program of days of Tajik culture includes an exhibition of paintings by Tajik artists, a photo exhibition entitled Contemporary Tajikistan, an exhibition of publishing and a display of modern and traditional national clothes. Among the most striking events of the holiday are a concert of Tajik artists in the Turkmenistan cinema centre and a gala concert of Turkmen and Tajik masters of culture and art at the closing ceremony of the creative action.
