ASHGHABAT (Satrapia) — President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree establishing the Institute of Communal Services of Turkmenistan. According to the document, the new university was transferred to the Ministry of Public Utilities of Turkmenistan. In the 2017-2018 academic year, it is planned to admit 400 students to the institute, who will be trained in 12 specialties.

Also, the Turkmen Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Ministry of Education, is instructed to develop a curriculum on the specialties of the institute in a month’s time and submit them for approval. It is planned to include in the structure of the new university 5 faculties — municipal services, economics and management, systems and facilities engineering, mechanical and technological and advanced training.
