ASHGHABAT (AKIPress) — Turkmen-Italian political consultations were held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on March 28. During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and perspectives of Turkmen-Italian relations.

Italian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr. Manlio Di Stefano.

The parties agreed to boost trade-economic cooperation.

Upon completion of the negotiations, the parties signed a cooperation program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy 2019-2020.
