DUSHANBE (Satrapia) — National University of Tajikistan (TNU) and Samarkand State University (Navoiy University) agreed on cooperation.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the rector of TNU Muhammadusuf Imomzoda and rector of the State University of Samarkand (named after the Turkic poet Mīr ‘Alisher Navaiy) Rustam Holmurodov. The agreement was signed within the framework of the visit of the cultural delegation of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, which took place from 1 to 4 August.

The purpose of signing the agreement is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the two universities of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the sphere of experience exchange and implementation of scientific research works.
