Tajik Central Bank cuts Key Rate to 14.75%

ALMATY, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Tajikistan’s central bank cut its refinancing rate to 14.75% from 16.00% on Tuesday, the regulator said in a statement.

The decision was made due to the relatively low inflation risk, the central bank said.

On Jan. 15, Kazakhstan cut base rate by 50 bps to 9.75% based on lower than forecast inflation, expected further decline in inflation, weak domestic demand and favourable external markets «»
