LOS ANGELES (Avesta news agency) — Tajik judoka Muhammadi Latipov won a silver medal at the international judo tournament in Los Angeles, USA.

As reported by the press centre of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, on June 30 an international judo tournament was held in Los Angeles.

Muhammadi Latifov, having won three victories on the way to the final, lost in the final fight on points and became the winner of the silver medal of the tournament

It is noted that Muhammadi Latifov trained in Tajikistan for many years, and in 2015 he won a bronze medal at the World Judo Championship among veterans in Amsterdam, Holland.

Currently, Muhammadi Latifov trains in the US at the Kennians Sports Club under the guidance of coach Aram Ghukasiyan.
