DUSHANBE (Satrapia) — President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chief Executive Officer and President of the General Electric in Russia/CIS Ronald Pollett discussed cooperation in implementation of the energy projects in Tajikistan, the President’s press service reported.
Rahmon called on the GE leadership to participate in investment in energy and other promising spheres of the Tajik economy.
The two also considered the issues of effective using of the energy resources of Tajikistan, opportunities of development of cooperation, including attraction of investments for construction of hydropower plants, rehabilitation of electric stations, construction of power transmission lines and others.
