Position Changes in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE (Satrapia) — Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rakhmon today changed positions at the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Board of Directors of GSB Amonatbank (Sberbank), Dushanbe City Hall and several other government agencies.

Nizomiddin Zohidi was dismissed as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran. Khusrav Nosiri was relieved of his duties as Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Egypt and appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, while Ardasher Kodiri was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia.

Shahlo Sayfzoda and Firdavs Rizvonzoda were appointed Vice-Presidents of the Amonatbank’s security service; Sairam Bakozoda was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Television and Broadcasting Committee; Ardasher Mirzozoda was appointed Deputy Head of the State Service for Industrial and Mining Security.

Hokimshoh Bobozoda is head of the state institution “Entrepreneurship Support Fund under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan”, and Bakhtiar Nazirmadzoda has been appointed first deputy director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic.

E. Rahmon also agreed to release Umed Gurezzod from his position as First Deputy Mayor of the city of Bokhtar, Khatlon region, and appointed him as Deputy Mayor of the capital, Dushanbe.
