DUSHANBE (Ruptly) — Russian military helicopter pilots performed training flights with the landing of tactical troops in Tajikistan’s Gorno-Badakhshan Region, as shown in footage released on Wednesday.

According to a Russian Ministry of Defence press release, Mi-8MTV and Mi-24P helicopters participated in the drills.

Transport and combat helicopters Mi-8MTV, acting under the cover of a pair of attack helicopters Mi-24P, landed a joint Russian-Tajik tactical assault force group, which worked out raid-search operations in mountainous areas.
