DUSHANBE (Avesta news agency) – The foreign trade of Tajikistan exceeded US $4.1 billion and grew by 12% for 10 months of 2012 compared to the similar period of the previous year, reported the national statistical agency.
The balance of trade is negative and makes $1.9 bln. Tajikistan traded with 97 countries of the world. The CIS countries hold 44.3% in foreign trade of Tajikistan.
Export exceeded $1.1 billion, import makes around $3 bln.
Main partners of Tajikistan included:
- Russia: $834.7 mln
- China: $565.2 mln
- Kazakhstan: $554.5 mln
- Turkey: $468.9 mln
- Afghanistan: $188.6 mln
