China Suspended Road Communications with Tajikistan
Dushanbe (Satrapia) — China has suspended land links with Tajikistan via the Kulma checkpoint, a Tajik Ministry of Transport source confirmed.
To date, virtually all communication with China has been suspended by almost all neighbouring countries due to the coronavirus epidemic. On the eve of 27 January, Kyrgyzstan closed its border with China.
On 23 January, air traffic between Tajikistan and China was suspended. Flights operated by Somon Air and flights of the Chinese company South China Airlines were cancelled for an indefinite period of time.
