TEHRAN (Ruptly) — Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Cornel Feruta, Acting Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in Tehran on Sunday. On Saturday, Iran announced that it would further reduce its commitments under the Joint Global Action Plan (JCPOA).

During his visit to Iran, Mr Feruta also discussed joint cooperation with Ali Akbar Salehi, Director of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI).

Feruta’s trip is taking place before a quarterly meeting of the IAEA’s 35-nation Board of Governors next week.
