NUR-SULTAN / ex ASTANA (EDB press service) — The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and RenEll Co. Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation in constructing and operating general hospitals in Kokshetau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Aktau, Taraz, Pavlodar, and Karaganda (Kazakhstan) to be built based on public-private partnership arrangements.

The projects to construct and operate general hospitals in Kazakhstan are envisioned by the State Programme for Healthcare Development in 2020-2025 and are expected to have a significant socioeconomic effect. The parties to the memorandum are interested in long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation and aim to implement these investment projects in full.

In particular, they plan to jointly study possible investment options, including by creating special project vehicles, and explore project support mechanisms and their structure.
