NUR-SULTAN / ex ASTANA (Ruptly) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tileuberdi hold a joint press conference after bilateral meeting in Nur-Sultan on Thursday, April 8.
The top diplomats are expected to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas with special attention expected to be given to post-pandemic issues.
Exchange of views on Eurasian integration in the Caspian region, current security issues in Central Asia due to instability in Afghanistan, activities of radical organisations in the region and other topical and global issues are expected to be on agenda.
Lavrov’s trip to Kazakhstan comes after a visits to India and Pakistan.
