The largest portion, 5 bln tenge, was used by the MoTI on increasing the charter capital of Baiterek followed by an increase in the charter capital of KazakhExport to support producers of non-resource goods and service providers in foreign markets, according to the MoTI’s March 1, 2021 budget expenditure report.

The second place in the expenditure amount is the targeted transfer to QazExpoCongress (former Astana EXPO-2017), 3.1 bln tenge. Earlier, the MoTI reported that the company requires additional funding amounting to almost 15.3 bln tenge.

In total, the budget expenditures of the MoTI amounted to 10.15 bln tenge as of March 1.
