MOSCOW (Press TV) — Iran’s foreign minister says upon his arrival in Moscow that he will discuss the recent Israeli assaults on regional countries with Russian officials.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif take part in a press conference after meeting in Moscow on Monday, September 2.

Top officials are expected to discuss current issues related to bilateral cooperation as well as items on the regional and international agendas, including the JCPOA, developments in the Persian Gulf area and other matters. Issues of Russian-Iranian cooperation in the context of trade and the economy, energy and transport, and the cultural and humanitarian spheres are also on the agenda for discussion.
