WASHINGTON (Aerospace Daily & Defense Report) — U.S. President Donald Trump released an image of a failed rocket launch at the Imam Khomeini Space Centre in northern Iran, pre-emptively denying U.S. involvement in the accident and wishing Iran luck in finding out the cause.

The Safir space launch vehicle, which in 2017 delivered four small satellites to low Earth orbit, exploded on the launch pad on Aug. 29, according to news reports.
