Saudi Space Agency Chief Visits Moscow’s Space Centre

MOSCOW (Ruptly) — Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chairman of the board of directors of the newly-formed Saudi Space Agency, is holding a press conference at the RKA Mission Control Centre in Korolyov on Thursday.
The prince is on a three-day visit to Russia to meet with Roscosmos CEO Dmitri Rogozin and visit a number of space facilities. The aim of the visit is to boost cooperation between the two countries’ space industries.
“The training of the country’s specialists, not only cosmonauts, but also technical staff and scientists, as well as advanced training of scientific personnel, is of major importance to us. It will influence our strategic space programme,” he said.
The Saudi royal will also visit the Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes.
