MOSCOW (Interfax) — The Russian Federation’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, announced that by the end of 2021, Russia and the UAE will present a joint supersonic aircraft project.
The joint project envisages the participation of both countries in the development of this superjet, but the participation share of each is not yet clarified. On the Russian side it is understood that United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) or possibly one of its subsidiaries will take part. On the Arab side, the participation of the sovereign fund Abu Dhabi Mubadala is expected.
The project plans to manufacture two versions of the aircraft, one will be designed for eight passengers and the second will be able to seat thirty. The plane’s speed will be around Mach 1.5-1.8. In comparison with a modern airliner, the Airbus A350 can reach a speed of Mach 0.89.

This story is not very honest. The Emirates only put in money, all the technical development will be done by the Russians.
