ASTANA (Interfax) — Pope Francis will not attend the 6^th Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions to take place in Astana on October 10-11, Kazakh Social Development Minister Darkhan Kaletayev told Interfax.

Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is an annual congress held in Astana, Kazakhstan.

This year, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser and Secretary General of the World Conference of Religions for Peace, William Vendley will attend the forum.
