Participation in Customs Union, SES Attests to Single Agenda of Belarus, Kazakhstan

MINSK (BelTA) – Participation of Kazakhstan and Belarus in the Customs Union and the single economic space (SES) demonstrates the unity of efforts of the two countries, Chairman of the Majilis – the lower house of the Kazakh Parliament – Ural Muhamedzhanov said as he met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learnt.
Ural Muhamedzhanov emphasized that there are no problems between Belarus and Kazakhstan, there are only some issues that require attention and they are successfully dealt with.
“The fact that we are part of the Customs Union and the future single economic space, a higher level of integration, demonstrates the unity of our intentions,” Ural Muhamedzhanov said.
He thanked Belarus for the warm welcome and told the President about the fruitful work of the Kazakh delegation in Minsk.
Belarus and Kazakhstan maintain a meaningful dialogue on the high and highest levels. The countries take part in the meetings of the CIS, EurAsEC and the CSTO. Kazakh MPs support Belarusian counterparts on the international level. The MPs of Belarus and Kazakhstan cooperate actively within the framework of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly and the EurAsEC Inter-parliamentary Assembly.
