ISTANBUL (Radio Pakistan) — Turkish government has been creating new energy corridors to reach regions from Central Asia and from the Middle East. This was stated by president of the World Petroleum Council Jozsef Laszlo Toth at the 22nd World Petroleum Congress the largest meeting of the oil and gas industry in Istanbul.
He said these energy corridors will play an important role to secure the safe and economically viable access to markets from hydrocarbon.
Fifty energy ministers, high-level executives, international organizations and government leaders, experts from all areas of the industry and researchers are gathered in Istanbul to collectively analyse and determine the future of the petroleum sector.
The theme of the 22nd World Petroleum Congress is Bridges to our Energy Future.
