Kyrgyzstan and Russia signs memorandum on expanding trade and economic cooperation

Bishkek (24.kg news agency) – In Kyrgyzstan, memorandum on expanding trade and economic cooperation was signed between business entities in Russia and Osh city (Kyrgyzstan).

As the administration of the southern capital of the Kyrgyz Republic reported, the Russian side had also promised to help in implementation of city development programmes and plan.

During the official meeting, the sides highlighted the active cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In recent years, both countries established trade relations and contacts in the areas of trade, housing and communal services, organized economic missions and fairs. The parties are planning to start direct deliveries of fittings, wood, construction materials from the Russian Federation to Osh city.

According to the vice-mayor of Osh Talay Sabirov, the southern capital will receive two trolley buses from Russia in 2011.
