Khamenei Rules Out Negotiations with US
TEHRAN (Press TV) — Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, excluded bilateral and multilateral negotiations with the United States at a conference in Tehran last Tuesday.
“Negotiating with America means imposing US demands on the Islamic Republic of Iran, and secondly, negotiating means the success of America’s maximum pressure policy”, said Khamenei. He added that the condition for the talks to resume is for the United States to “resume its word and repent and renounce the nuclear agreement it violated, so it can join talks with Iran from other parties in the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action]”.
