MOSCOW (Interfax) – Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to travel to Kazakhstan at the end of April, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

“Such a trip is not on his schedule as of yet”, Peskov told reporters on Wednesday after being asked whether or not the Russian leader intended to visit Kazakhstan in the run-up to a presidential election in that country, set for April 26.

During his recent visit to Kazakhstan, Putin held a bilateral meeting with the Kazakh president and participated in talks with his Kazakh and Belarusian counterparts, he said.
