Kazakhstan to Supply Gas to Kyrgyzstan

(Kazinform) – Prime ministers of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Karim Massimov and Almazbek Atambayev have participated in the Intergovernmental Council.

At a briefing K.Massimov informed that following results of the negotiations there were reached several significant agreements in the field of energy and agriculture. In particular, the sides agreed on procurement of additional volumes of electricity from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz energy will create additional opportunities for Kazakhstan’s industrialization dynamically growing.

One of the major agreements is an agreement of supply of the Kazakh gas to Kyrgyzstan.

Also the sides agreed on establishment of a joint investment fund. According to the Kazakh Premier, the office will be opened soon in Bishkek.
