Kazakhstan May Host a Summit of Russia, Turkey and Iran
ASTANA (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan is ready to host a meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran in the Astana format, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said Wednesday at a meeting with diplomats in Astana.
On Monday, Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Kazakh foreign minister, had said Russia, Turkey, and Iran would hold the next round of talks on Syria on November 28-29 in Kazakhstan, Delegations of the Damascus government and the Syrian rebels are also set to attend, Abdrakhmanov told reporters.
