ALMATY (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — According to the experts surveyed by Interfax-Kazakhstan, the catering market in Kazakhstan shrank sharply — down some 70% — following the COVID-19 pandemic.

As lockdown measures in Almaty, restaurants, cafeterias, and cafes are allowed to be open from 9 AM a.m. to 8 PM only. Restaurants inside shopping malls are allowed to sell products to go only between 7 AM and 8 PM.
