ASTANA (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed a decree on renaming the Ministry for Religious Issues and Civil Society.

In implementing the national social consensus policy, the responsibilities and powers of the Ministry of Culture and Sport are transferred to the new Ministry. The staff of the above-mentioned governmental authorities are redistributed.
