NEW DELHI (Reuters) — India announced Tuesday that it would cut the Pakistani embassy in New Delhi by 50%, following what it called “acts of espionage” by officials there.

India would reduce the staff of its own embassy in Islamabad by the same amount, according to the Indian Foreign Ministry’s statement. There was no immediate reaction from Pakistan.
