DOHA (Al-Jazzera) – Former cricketer Imran Khan has been officially sworn-in as the new prime minister of Pakistan.

He was elected prime minister in a vote at the country’s National Assembly on Friday. His Tehreek-e-Insaf party won the most seats in last month’s elections. Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid looks back at Imran Khan’s journey from cricketer to the new leader of Pakistan.
