DUBAI (Reuters) – Saudi-led coalition forces engaged in Yemen said they intercepted and shot down a drone launched by the Iranian-aligned Houthi movement on its way to the Saudi border town of Najran on Wednesday, the state news agency SPA reported.
The coalition stated that the drone was directed at civilian targets. The Houthi group made no immediate comment on the attack, which comes after the expiration of a month-long cease-fire announced by the coalition on April 24.
