ANKARA (Turkish Presidency via Ruptly) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated his country’s support for the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA), during a conference held in Ankara on Tuesday.

The president also commented on Idlib, and insisted that Turkey would not accept an re-escalation of conflict in the region.

Erdogan said:

Putschist Haftar and his supporters’ invasion plan of Tripoli, Libya resulted in defeat, thank god. Internationally-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) completely succeeded in weeding out putschists from Tripoli.
