NEW YORK (WION) — Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest during their bilateral meeting in New York.
However, Trump’s extremely enthusiastic welcome to Modi indicates that New Delhi has already abandoned Tehran. The latter, moreover, no longer hesitates to support its own potential enemy, Pakistan, in the issue of India’s revoking the Kashmir’s special status.
Would this meeting at the United Nations be the beginning of an out-of-court divorce, or is it hiding a mediation from India to prepare a meeting between Rouhani and Trump?
